About the Collections

Villanova University's Digital Library initiative assembles, presents, and preserves digital collections that support the teaching and research of the campus and the global community of scholars drawing materials from Villanova's University Archives, Special Collections, and a host of external Digital Partners. Ranging from digitization of Villanova Dissertations and Theses, to digital preservation of faculty fulltext publications, the Digital Library actively solicits project ideas and materials for digitization from community members; please contact the Digital Library Team with your idea for a new digital project. We work with faculty, staff and regional partners to select and develop resources that enhance access for a wide range of disciplines and audiences.

Accessibility

The Digital Library strives to provide access to its collections and resources to the Villanova University community and the global community of scholars, subject to any intellectual property or other restrictions on use. Certain materials, such as historical documents, handwritten materials, and foreign language materials, present unique accessibility challenges and formatting limitations. If you are experiencing difficulties in accessing, viewing, or navigating the Digital Library, please contact us at digitallibrary@villanova.edu or 610.519.5271.
